In this Carol Protocol review, we take a look at this new defi passive income project on the Base chain. You can earn passive income through creating bonds, which are deferred purchases on Carol tokens. At the end of the bond period, you receive all the tokens plus an additional 30% (for the 30-day bond) or 20% (for the 20-day bond).
You can also use your tokens for liquidity staking and receive a substantial boost to your daily income. Staking yield starts at 2% daily, and can increase through bonuses.
Bonuses are as follows:
Liquidity Bonus: +0.1% for every 25 ETH in the project’s liquidity.
Personal Bonus: +0.1% to yield for each 1 ETH in your stake.
Hold Bonus: +0.1% for every 48 hours without claiming or withdrawing CAROL.
Carol Finance is an impressive project, and I think it has lots of potential. Remember that everything in crypto is risky, and of course all defi projects should be considered high-risk / high-reward, but projects like this one are what make defi such an exciting space and I hope it stays around for a long time!
